This Week’s SnapYourSupper Ingredients are:
- Skirt Steak
- Baby Bok Choy
- Gochujang
Skirt steak is one of my favorite meats to grill. When I am going to busy all day its great to toss together a quick marinade and pop it in the fridge the night before. All day while i’m busy at work the marinade is working its magic on the skirt steak. In 6 minutes time plus a few resting minutes dinner is done and a glass of wine is in my hand:) Very strong on flavor and rather inexpensive skirt steak is a great choice when you are short on time but need a break from chicken breasts.
Baby bok choy or pok choy as it is sometimes called is a great little versatile vedge. Tasting like a more powerful spinach but meeker mustard green bok choy is perfect for your stir fry or steaming.
Gochujang is my jam! And yes it even tastes good when paired with peanut butter. A fermented spicy Korean sauce that is made with chilis and rice to name a few of the ingredients. I have an embarrassingly large tub of the stuff that I use to add some personality to any dish needing a boost and to liven up my leftovers. Great in a sauce, marinade, or as a condiment gochujang should really have a prime spot in your fridge door.
I hope you check back on Tuesday to see what I have created for my supper and as always, I would love to see what you have made so “SnapYourSupper” and be sure to use the hashtag #snapyoursupper![bctt tweet=”This week’s ingredients are skirt steak, baby bok choy & gochujang #snapyoursupper to share what you would make with these and check back Tuesday for my recipe!” username=”snapyoursupper”]
