French Breakfast Radish & Lemons

French Breakfast Radishes are one of my favorite things to eat come spring. Lets face it they could probably taste like dirt and if they were the first spring vegetables to come out of the garden; I would still love them! More mild then the traditional belle variety french breakfast radishes taste great roasted and raw. Add a little butter and flake salt for the perfect tea sandwich or just sprinkle with salt and a nice cold beer. All of the above sound pretty stellar to me!

Lemons are the pretty much the savior of any bland dish that has been maxed out on salt. If its missing something that you can’t put your finger on try some lemon. 75% of the time its acid you are missing and lemons provide the perfect punch of brightness in both their zest and juice.

Check back Tuesday to see my recipe with these great ingredients and to share your creations us #snapyoursupper !
